Creative Problem Solving is a proven method for approaching a problem or a challenge in an imaginative and innovative way. It’s a tool that helps people re-define the problems they face, come up with breakthrough ideas and then take action on these new ideas.

Alex Osborn and Sidney Parnes conducted extensive research on the steps that are involved when people solve problems, the result of which is the following 6 steps that are broken down into 3 stages:

A Rich Picture represent what we know about a messy situation — the issues, actors, problems, processes, relationships, conflicts and motivations — so that we can reason about these aspects. It is a graphical tool that addresses that state of uncertainty at the beginning of an exploration or inquiry when all we know that we are dealing with a problematic situation, and moves us to a state where we have identified one or more themes we want to address. Rich pictures are tools to learn not only about the obvious facts of a situation, but also about abstract or emotional things like the social atmosphere among the actors.

Do You Recognize These 10 Mental Blocks to Creative Thinking?

Whether you’re trying to solve a tough problem, start a business, get attention for that business or write an interesting article, creative thinking is crucial. The process boils down to changing your perspective and seeing things differently than you currently do.

People like to call this “thinking outside of the box,” which is the wrong way to look at it. Just like Neo needed to understand that " there is no spoon" in the film The Matrix, you need to realize “there is no box” to step outside of.

You create your own imaginary boxes simply by living life and accepting certain things as “real” when they are just as illusory as the beliefs of a paranoid delusional. The difference is, enough people agree that certain man-made concepts are “real,” so you’re viewed as “normal.” This is good for society overall, but it’s that sort of unquestioning consensus that inhibits your natural creative abilities.

So, rather than looking for ways to inspire creativity, you should just realize the truth. You’re already capable of creative thinking at all times, but you have to strip away the imaginary mental blocks (or boxes) that you’ve picked up along the way to wherever you are today.

I like to keep this list of 10 common ways we suppress our natural creative abilities nearby when I get stuck. It helps me realize that the barriers to a good idea are truly all in my head.

Do you tell yourself that you are not a creative person because you can't draw or play an instrument or write poetry? I often hear many of my clients bemoan, "I'm not creative!"

This isn't true! We all have the ability to be creative - it is a God-given gift - but you might not be noticing or enjoying your particular form of creativity. It's important that you become aware of which forms of creativity are fun and fulfilling for you, because expressing your creativity is a powerful way of feeling filled up and joyful within.

Creativity naturally pours out of my three-year old grandson, as it does out of all little children who are given the opportunity to express it. When I was spending time with him recently, he was playing with a children microscope that has little slides with various bugs and other little creatures that he can slide in. He slid in a little shrimp and then starting running around the room saying, "Grandma, the shrimp is in the heater! Get it out!" Once I coaxed out the little shrimp, it now magically appeared under the table, or in the lamp, or back in the heater! He delighted in running around pretending this little shrimp was everywhere and engaging me in his magical game, laughing as he thought up new place for the shrimp to hide! I could see the pure joy he experiences in expressing his creativity.

You use the right or left hemisphere of the brain during thinking?

If you see this woman rotating in a clockwise direction, you use the right hemispheres of the brain. If you see it differently, using the left hemisphere of the brain.

Some people see this woman rotating in both directions, but most people see a woman in one rotation direction. See if you can make to a woman in the drawing turned in one direction and then in the opposite direction

What is Brainstorming?

Process for generating creative idea and solutions through intensive and freewheeling group discussion. Every participation is encouraged to think aloud and suggest as many ideas as possible, no matter seemingly how outlandish or bizarre. Analysis, discussion, or criticism of the aired ideas is allowed only when the brainstorming session is over and evaluation session begins.

Brainstorming with a group of people is a powerful technique. Brainstorming creates new ideas, solves problems, motivates and develops teams. Brainstorming motivates because it involves members of a team in bigger management issues, and it gets a team working together. However, brainstorming is not simply a random activity. Brainstorming needs to be structured and it follows brainstorming rules. The brainstorming process is described below, for which you will need a flip-chart or alternative. This is crucial as Brainstorming needs to involve the team, which means that everyone must be able to see what's happening. Brainstorming places a significant burden on the facilitator to manage the process, people's involvement and sensitivities, and then to manage the follow up actions. Use Brainstorming well and you will see excellent results in improving the organization, performance, and developing the team.

I know a boy by the name of Henry Ford Assembly line . He was very unique for all of us , he always dreamed to make a special source of energy for the future of the human World , "he called that nuclear energy". He keep thinking about alternating current making an airplane by the brand name of Ford , which are made by plastics, nylon, transistor radio, communication satellites, computer,and solar cell to control it's flow.

He is the first man that had the idea to put television into the airplane for showing the movies to the passengers. Henry Ford introduce the procedure of buying the ticket by using telephone and credit card. After tremendous glory that he achieved he got a diseases which made him use the pacemaker for the whole of his live, and he must keep eating the antibiotics to keep his alternating current of brain work as usual.

Henry ford introduced a security system that use a laser devices for it raw materials. For these he needed to have support from his friend that open the household appliances and freeze drying machine maker. Before he died, he dreamed that he will be the first human who walk on the Moon.
